Devonport
Devonport is one of the oldest and most historical suburbs on Auckland's North Shore.
Its restored Victorian buildings are home to a variety of antique and gift shops, cafes
and restaurants. Its two extinct volcanic cones, Mt Victoria and North Head with its
glorious 360° views of Auckland city and the islands in the Hauraki Gulf, makes this 10
minute ferry destination from downtown Auckland a popular destination for Aucklanders
and tourists. It is also the chief naval base for New Zealand
